I asked fanatic about the CTM server but, he told me that it was closed down. Is it possible someone could host a server for your ingame superhostile chatting needs?

I would support this, but I don't do MP. At all. With the lag and glitches, and my crappy internet, I just can't stand it.

We could set up a server, but then everyone that wants to join has to contribute a small amount of money to it, I think. I haven't the slightest how expensive good SMP servers are nowadays, but if there are many requests for a server like this, I might look into it.

Spent the 10 minutes it takes to look this stuff up. For roughly £7 ($10 for you Americans...) you can host a server with a max of 10 people for a month on Treepuncher.

I certainly think if there was a server, like the one timetoslide had, it would be avidly used, but we'd need to make sure it had the capacity to handle everyone. 10 might be good, maybe 15 for a player limit. Full vanilla sounds good. As for money, we could run it off of ad.fly, as I suggested at another time, or maybe have everyone send in like a dollar to the person keeping it afloat.

Would you resort to using Hamachi for it? My one works fine. For more people you just add more networks. Then again, my server has 4GB+ for 4 players....
